Tony and his workers did a great job painting our flat. Tony took the time to visit us twice before starting any work to discuss ideas and colours. Tony pointed out things that other decorators didn't mention when looking at the flat. We followed his advice rather than doing what we originally intended and we are glad that we did. It is very much worth listening to Tony's advice as he has a lot of experience and knowledge. The job was done in the time that Tony said it would take, he and his workers were friendly and worked well. Tony also did a few extra jobs for no extra charge and we hope to employ his services again in the future. Highly Recommended!

Excellent choice of decorator. The Manager, Tony, came and looked at the job and actually pointed us in a different direction as to what we were going to take and suggested other options. It was a well done job in the time stated and for the cash paid, so good in fact that I am getting them back soon to do my living room.

I am thrilled with the result of the painting job that Tony quoted me for through Rated People. Tony showed up to discuss the job for the first time on a Tuesday evening; by the following Tuesday evening the work was completed to a very high standard and everything in the house was back where it started - without me having to lift a finger!
I got 4 quotes in all for the work, and Tony's was the second cheapest I received - so very reasonable on price. His guys showed up when they said they would and needed no further instructions from me to complete the work required - clearly they had been briefed fully by Tony and understood exactly what the requirements of the job were.
The speed of the job and quality of the workmanship were both impressive - I spent the week between receiving the quote and the job being completed joking uncomfortably with friends and family about how it all seemed too good to be true and how I was waiting for something ridiculous to happen. Happily this never transpired and I am completely satisfied with the finished job. I will definitely be using AM Decor the next time I have any decorating needing done, and would thoroughly recommend them to anybody else.

You and your team were at all times reliable, professional and a pleasure to deal with. You just 'got on with the job' and your 'can do' positive attitude to any hitches and extras was much appreciated. You all seemed to work all hours possible to do a great job and finish the job on time and clean up as you went along so you get 10/10 for a fantastic job.

Tony and his team were excellent throughout the whole week. he turned up when he said he would to give the quote, everything we asked for was quoted (even a late change of mind) so we knew what the price would be up front. All the materials were provided and Tony didn't ask for a penny until the job was done. (We have been stung in the past but other decorators so it was a great peace of mind). We couldn't have asked for a better job, the paintwork was great and the papering in the bedroom (walls and ceiling) was brilliant. The walls are all "off" so it took some doing. They were there for the 4 days that they said they would be and this took into account a whole day without electricity !!! (not their fault, I hasten to add.) If you're looking for a team of decorators that will do what they say they will do. AM Decor are the ones to go to. I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends.

Customer comment: This company redecorated all external windows, eaves & timber porch on my 3 storey listed house. They did a good thorough job - and I'm a fussy Architect. They managed to access some very difficult windows. Turned up every morning around 8am until job was complete. They didn't ask for any additional money after the job was started or complain about anything. They charged a reasonable price and overall it was a pleasure working with them. 24.08.09
Redecoration of lounge, including stripping and papering ceiling, painting cornice, lining and paintroom is approx 21 ft long, 11 ft wide, and celing 13.6 ft high. Ceiling has woodchip paper to be removed. Cornice needs painted together with centre piece (in good condition one coat will suffice). Walls need lined and painted (3 walls only) Walls have been stripped
Customer comment:Tony and his team are great. From the minute Tony arrived to do the quote it was clear that he was an experienced professional and knew what he was talking about, with lots of experience of the issues of victorian tenement drawing rooms. The job was done quickly but very well. There are absolutely no seams to be seen - they also did a tremendous job of smoothing the walls, and tackled a number of cracks in the ceiling far better than the plasterer who had been tasked with this prior to the decorators arriving. I'll certainly be using Tony's team again.

Living Room (11 x 15ft): prepare walls for repainting, including repapering former damp patch (couple of feet square) on ceiling and tatty wall around new fireplace etc. etc.

Tony and his colleague arrived early, ready to start work on time every day. They undertook the work over 4 days and overall have done a very good job. My expectations were high and have been achieved and my house looks ten times better than before. They have made a particularly good job of the ceiling which I am sure was a nasty job from start to finish. When the time comes, I will ask Tony and his staff to work for me again as I believe that they offer good value for a good service.
